George_of_all_trades –
I can tell there are a few reviews on here that never actually used it or read the manual on how to use this bipod. First off I wanna get out of the way, you don’t need any tools whatsoever to move the legs out. Watch my video and it will explain it all.But all you have to do is pull the legs slightly and move the legs to where you want it and the internal springs will automatically snap the legs back on the notches on the swivels and will keep them securely locked in. Then just repeat the process in reverse to fold them back in. Extending the legs is even easier, just pull and it locks into 4 different heights. Then just press the spring lever and they retract instantly. This is by far one of the better if not the best bipod I’ve used. It’s sleek, low profile, no visible springs, no clunky legs, fairly lightweight, and very configurable to any angle you want to sit your rifle into. Not all metal but some kind of alloy because my magnets don’t stick to anything except where the screws are. Not sure if it’s aluminum, but it’s not plastic or composite. It’s a solid build. It comes with 2 different size allen wrenches but only to take apart or maybe adjust tension on the hidden springs. But you don’t really need them because everything is good to go out of the box. Love the quick release because I can quickly take it off when I don’t need it, but the lever also has a thumb lock so you can’t accidentally release it. But this is so low profile that I just have it on all the time. I definitely recommend!

Very sturdy & no issues many months later, buying another one.

Opened the package and though it is a more economic option, I was satisfied with the features and function of the entire bipod. Upon the first attempt at installation it failed before even tight onto the mount. Aside from not being able to mount it, I’d rate it at 3-4 stars. Cannot weigh in on stability or its primary function since it failed prior to testing.
