The last thing I want to do when I’m up in a tree hunting is to mess with my phone, especially when it’s cold. But a good set of gloves that covers the use of the phone, climbing/rope handling & pulling a bow to draw is basically asking for 3 different things. These gloves execute all 3 well enough to cover those bases. The fit is snug & solid with no play & all work up & out of the tree goes very well. I may need to get a backup pair for the future.

Not sure why tactical gloves are always undersized.

I ordered these to replace a pair of tactical touch screen gloves eaten by the dog. I loved the gloves these were replacing, so I was a little apprehensive at first. However, I am very happy with these and I would most likely order them again. For reference, I decided to compare these to a pair of tactical gloves from a big company that starts with “M” for reference.Things I like:- Touch screen fingers work perfectly.- These are flexible enough to do most tasks so far (not as flexible as my tactical “M” gloves or my thermal “M” gloves) .- The reinforced knuckles seem pretty decent (though obviously not Kevlar)- They are a little on the thick side and therefore pretty toasty.- The closure is kind of awesome. I kind of like the metal loop and kind of wish my “M” brand had them.Things that could be better:- For me, the fit. I have very large hands and these are a little on the short side for me. The “M” brand fit well, these are a little tight and thus, the knuckles are somewhat misaligned.- They are flexible, however due to their thickness and rigidity, managing the functions on a both a compact and a standard sized hand held pew pew one handed is a little challenging. Specifically, the pez dispenser release. If you have one that’s oversized it might be fine.- If you need to remove one glove without using the other hand, the closure makes that difficult (but I still kind of like it).
