  1. The Grim Panda

I have a pair of old Tru-Spec marpat pants i got about… 7 years ago. They are still kicking around and barely look worn, so with the expectation level pretty high for something to preform well through washing machines, the meanest american woods, paint ball events, and airsoft wars, i got these. Honestly, i’m not disappointed at all, in fact i’m incredibly pleased. Not only are they comfortable, they are strong, and the stitching is great. I don’t feel like i’m wearing some costume i bought at iParty or jokers wild, like i do when i purchase from other manufacturers. These fit perfectly, (though i feel like i should have gotten medium regular and not medium long but that is not their fault, that is mine), and i have a feeling they will be lasting me a long time. So if you’re a weekend warrior, try these out if you like the pattern, i doubt you’ll be displeased with your purchase. If you are an actual member of the armed forces, i’m not entirely sure if they will meet your expectations, but a friend of mine who’s within the US army won’t stop talking about how much he loves them and wishes he could wear them instead of his BDU’s.

  2. Lumpy

When I wear these chicks go wild. I bought them extra tight so I look like a cross between Tom Jones and Rambo… No kidding, these are great pants. All Tru-Specs seem great – pants, covers, shirts, everything. The “less than mainstream” camo pattern is a nice change. Build quality is really good. They are a little heavier material than some. Thicker material, heavier thread with more bar tacks and double stitching and what not. Might be more appropriate for cooler seasons than summer in Phoenix. These (all TS’s I’ve owned) have the best front “hand pockets” of any brand BDU/Fatigue/Whatever pants I’ve had. There’s enough opening to reach your hand in there even if you have a bunch of bat accessories in your bat pouches on your bat belt. I’ve got some BDUs that just wearing a small folding knife in a sheath interferes with your hand reaching in to get your keys, your book of numbers and your remedies. (see what I did there?)

The only thing stopping me from giving these pants five stars is the sizing. I had to order three times before getting a size that fit like the first one should have (they run really big). But other than that, I love them and wear them for everything. And now that I know which size to order, I’ll be ordering a few more pairs.
