This is a decent value for a hooded fleece jacket. Like many things I buy this started out with a youtube review of a Baerskin Tactical Fleece. Since I will probably buy boxer shorts if they were labeled “tactical” a hooded fleece was for me. My search on Tomahawk Tactical Supply Find had several options-the TACVASEN was my pick. The first thing I noticed was the weight of the package- nice and solid. The jacket fits well- I wear a large and I’m not swimming in it but not too tight. The hood is a nice large design that covers the sides of my head to help keep the heat in and the wind out..I have yet to find a use for the small zippered pockets on the biceps-maybe if I start smoking they will come in handy for camels. The zippered side pockets are nice and deep plus the 2 inside pockets are about the same size. The jacket blocks the wind pretty decent- not like a nylon shell but not as porous as a regular fleece.I’m now fully equipped for my morning tactical mission of taking our dog for a walk for payload delivery-but with that no-nonsense swagger that only tactical gear can give.

This is by far the best $50 jacket I have ever seen in my life! I just tried it out on a 48 degree day with high winds and it was warm and awesome! I’m 6’0″, 200 pounds and the large fits perfectly. There is room to gain or lose some weight and it should still fit great. I love the fact that it’s long and comes down below the waist. The sleeves are actually long enough for my arms, which is rare in most jackets. The fabric is the equivalent of a Polartec-200, It’s heavy, soft, cozy, and warm, NOT a light-weight warm weather jacket… Lots of great pockets and has Velcro on both sleeves for morale patches. The only thing it is lacking is a draft flap behind the zipper. Other than that the construction quality and materials seem excellent, especially for the price.

I recently ordered & received the Tacvasen Tactical Hoodie & I am very pleased, fits & looks great, warm & comfortable. Fits great for height & build. The only Con is the zippper is located on the opposite side, but very happy with the Hoodie. I recommend this item.
