I liked the pockets and the fact that it fit the personal item size restriction on United. The one drawback is that the way the zipper opens in the backpack configuration, the large teeth rub against your arms/clothes. I also found that something about the placement of the backpack arm slings made it hard to carry. I kept it zipped and carried it one-shouldered most of the time.

For a brand that prides itself on providing the best equipment, I think this product falls short. Two issues: first the combination sling/regular straps – this compromise reduces the effectiveness of both configurations by making them both feel awkward; make it one or the other! Second and the most annoying for me is the molle, or rather the lack of it. You can’t strap anything substantial to this pack – the molle is poorly positioned and there isn’t enough of it to properly thread bottle holders, first aid kits or even just an expansion pouch. If you’re looking for something this size and want to be able to configure it, I recommend the Red Rock line of packs – I’ve been using the smaller one since January 2018 and it is amazingly configurable for about half the price of this pack.
