In the last few years I’ve switched to barefoot style shoes and it’s helped immensely with back, knee, and ankle pain from 20 years of wear and tear from the Army. It’s been difficult to find combat boots that don’t feel like they’re smashing my toes together. I’ve tried different boots from Danner, Belleville, Oakley, GoRuck, Rocky, 5.11, Tactical Research, Cocoran, Bates, Viktos, and Altama. None of them quite worked.Belleville’s mini mils were great, but the soles were so thin that a small pebble in the right place caused a lot of pain. Good for around the office but not for rough terrain and long distance rucking.Nike boots gave me my fastest times on Rucks, were incredibly comfortable, but their shape could put pressure on the pinky toe and they had a raised heel which was going against what I was looking for. That brings me to the Reeboks. A zero drop heel with a wide toe box and just enough cushioning so you can operate on rough terrain without wincing in pain from a small rock. They are incredibly comfortable, lightweight, and supportive. Even better, they are AR 670-1 compliant! I haven’t tried them on long and heavy trucks yet, but I have done a lot of moving in full kit and they felt amazing. I am guessing they will do great for rucking.A boot like this could help save you a lot of pain later in life.I wear an 11 in Xero Shoes which fit perfectly. For the Reeboks I had to get an 11W to fit perfectly.

Lets start with the backstory; I just recently bought these and only had them for about a week. They are currently my everyday wears now since I bought these to replace and to substitute out for my Bellville C320 Ultra light assult boots. Ive had those for about 2 years now and continue to go strong. I’ve seen the Bellville Mini Mills and been wanting something similar to that style so I came across these.Looks: Remind me of a cross between Danners, Bellville across the annkle and sides.Pros: Super lightweight, comfortable, quality feel and look. I have yet to test them yet in the field but just walking across rock and such they are comfortable.Cons: The laces that come with it are thin and weak. The support compared to my Bellville around my ankles arnt the best unless I really sinch them down. When putting them on i really have to loosen the front metatarsal area in order for me to put them on or else I struggle to put them on compared to my Bellvilles.Overall: I think they are a good boot and looking foward to wearing them more. The comfort on these are great. Make sure you buy a new pair of laces on these and be prepared to really sinche these down for the support on the ankles. When doing so they do offer good support. I think when the time comes I think i shall buy these again.

I know these are not zero drop, despite wishing wearing zero drop shoes for 4 years now, i wanted to slowly ease into boots, so these for the bill. They are comfortable. I do plan on purchasing true zero drop boots, these are great.
