This flashlight packs an impressive punch with its brightness—1200 lumens is no joke, and it easily lights up a large area. It feels solid in hand, thanks to its sturdy aluminum build, and the included holster is a nice touch, especially with the 360° rotation. I’ve used it in some wet conditions, and it held up fine, so the water resistance is definitely a plus.The only thing I’m not a fan of is that it’s rechargeable instead of using standard batteries. While rechargeable is great for everyday use, it could be inconvenient during a power outage or when you’re out camping without access to power. Overall, though, it’s a reliable, bright flashlight that’s built to last.

Being an old-school Surefire head, the appearance of this light immediately grabbed my attention. I’ve always had good luck with Jetbeam in the past, so I decided to pick one up. After reading some online reviews, I became worried that the beam would be horribly blue and that the output would be weak. I should have known that Jetbeam knew what they were doing. It is cool white, but not distractingly blue or green in tint. It is much brighter than I thought it would be, and the thing feels better quality than torches costing 2-3x or more than this. My new favorite tac light that lives by my bed. If you want a true tactical light, look no further. Jetbeam definitely deserves more recognition and this light is a steal even at full retail.
