Looks and feels much more solid. Replaced half the foam with polyethylene plank foam, added cut outs, and it is solid now . Holds my rifle and compact, with enough room for accessories. To add – additional mags for both guns, 200 bullets storage, sling, and vertical grip. Maybe a scope later down the road? Do note that if dropped or banged hard, the case will crack, but it does look like it can take a little bit of a beating. Also, the latches do come off now and then, but its no big deal – just pop it back in. Love the case so far. Best bang for the buck.

The case is rugged when locked. The locks can pop out of their hinge configuration when trying to lock the case. If you pay attention to what you’re doing when you lock the case it really isn’t a big deal. Padding is average but good enough. I really like the customization included with the case. It allows you to strap down the components within the case so they do not shift or move during transport. There are also 10+ places around the case to attach a lock. Would buy it again, would recommend it. Hard to beat for the money.
