Just what you expect, good latches and plenty of foam to cut how you need. I used for tools that I have to ship not guns, and it hold a 100lbs just fine. Great addition to the collection

I ended up returning this item – but when it showed up – it was fairly great condition, looks well built and a bit weighty. I returned this as it was just too expensive at the time for me. Until I need to travel with it (which I may in the future) I might order it again.I imagine it’s the life-time warranty that drives up the price, but at around $300 – it’s extremely pricey for just storing it in my closet – I’ll stick with my soft cases for now until I travel or have a much larger place to put it.
