I have seen similar jackets on internet sites and read the reviews of people receiving terrible inferior jackets.I loved the design and look so much that I took a chance. There were no reviews (scary). Its Tomahawk Tactical Supply Find so back it would go if it didnt match the specs and pics. My expectations were low but went ahead.Immediately when I picked the large heavy package up I knew that things were looking up. I was instantly blown away. The fabric is heavy heavy and don’t doubt the 1000 D spec at all.As I unfolded the jacket it looked EXACTLY like the pics. I immediately put it on as I was concerned about sizing. I wear a large shirt but ordered an XL as I wanted room for bulky undergarments. I have an athletic build – wide shoulders smaller waist. I look like a BEAST in this jacket. Makes my shoulders and back look even bigger. No one is going to mess with me in this jacket.I cinched up the waist straps slightly for a tailored fit. I had to run the strap back though the plastic buckle again so it would hold firm – easy fix. Used velcro strip to tidy up the excess strap.Next I checked the back pads – good – not stuffing nor Armor. All the pockets are accounted for and the zippers are very good quality, smooth. Next I checked the stitching for cut corners. Looks excellent. Seams look very good. Even the neck rescue stap looks like it actually would work.I then checked the pockets in the elbows where the hard inserts would go (not included). Figured they would skimp there. Nope. See Pic. Big velcro deep pockets. Found cheap neoprene inserts on Tomahawk Tactical Supply Find. This is a VERY stiff jacket as it should be. It will require a break in period. Happened to be a windy cold day so got to test it. It is wind proof and I was warm however the jacket is not insulated but the fabric is so thick that it worked well – you’ll need another layer if doing extended cold. I could tell from the inside that the back of the fabric has a waterproof coating. Feels like a thin rubber coating but made of something else I suppose. As soon as I got home I ordered the black one. I love tactical wear and when I find an exceptional product I buy extra because the good stuff sells out and sometimes never comes back. Shipping was from the US and fast. No issues. A five star buy!

My size is between Large and Medium. So normally I can fit into both depending on the Jacket. at 42 R suit size, Medium is a bit more form-fitting However judging by the size chart. It’s making me wonder if a Small would be more beneficial.Normally when a jacket comes from Asia, You expect the jacket to be smaller than your normal size which is why I went a size up. (Big Mistake). However, When the large showed up and I tried it on, It was much larger than I expected. I compared it to the Nylon bomber coat I have which is a Medium Long. The good:Storage for Multiple Items. -13 Pockets – Love thisThe Reinforced Spine Cushion – Very solid from what I can tell definitely not cheap. The Construction of the jacket as a whole. – Very rigid and solid perfect for taking the abuse of physical or outdoor activities or motorcycle riding. (one of a few reasons I got the jacket. )Price – Not $700 like The official jacket made here in the USA However I do wonder about a comparison between the two.The Bad:Lack of an interior liner -Warmth is important, My bomber jacket has a zip-in liner which helps keep me dry during the rain or snowy seasons. I think if this could be added it would help. With the added bonus of being zipped out for warmer climates. (Motorcycle rides are 20 degrees cooler when you are moving.) However, this could block the pockets on the inside if not designed correctly. The waist straps. – This also felt like the coat could get caught on something from those straps being pulled tight to the max. I will have to try a medium to see how much smaller it is.Overall I think the jacket has a lot of potential. It’s just unfortunate that I underestimated the size of it based on my own frame and jacket size experiences of the past from Chinese suppliers.

Absolutely love this jacket BUT….The bottom snap was broken on arrival, so were the chest pocket zippers, going to try and see if the next one is better, it’s a shame because if they would have used a better zipper on the pockets that did not pull apart from the bottom and a better quality set of snaps this is a perfect fall jacket
