I have to wear armor for work and I bought this vest because it’s a certain style that I was interested in, and I figured I would buy cheap to try it before going all in. While there are a couple of minor changes that I would make, the vest is actually pretty up to standards in my opinion. Steel plates wouldnt fit very well as theyre thin, but it fits my lvl 4 ceramics perfectly. It even has straps inside to secure the plates which I wasnt really expecting from this brand. The velcro is also pretty hard-core, I really have to pull to get it apart. The range of mobility is surprisingly high and the shoulder pads, though they may seem bulky, really help alot with dispersing the weight. The material is also nice and thick. All in all, as long as the stitching holds up to the weight of my plates, I don’t see that much of a difference between this and the others from the big name brands that I usually buy from. As someone with a legitimate need for this stuff, Im surprisingly pretty happy with it.
