I not only like the look of these boots but also the feel. These are made like they should cost a lot more. Unlike so many boots being offered today they also have a pull tab on the back to help put these on quickly. The top two eyelets are quick fasteners. So, these come on and off quick and easy. I hate zippered boots. Of any kind. The top is lined with padding, as should be. These are very comfortable and feel very sturdy. I can’t attest to whether they are waterproof or not. But I can tell you my feet don’t sweat in them. Possibly in part because I wear Fox River Wick Dry Maximum Socks, available on Tomahawk Tactical Supply Find. Best boot socks you can get IMHO. Sure, beat those OD greens we were issued. Based on all the boots I own and have worn; these feel like they should hold up well. But only time will tell. My only wish and reason for docking a star is that the entire shank of the boot isn’t 8 inches. As you can see from the picture the back is lower. Causing slimmer jeans or nonmilitary apparel to bunch up. Whereas a regular 8-inch boot works with even tapered leg jeans. Otherwise, this boot would be perfect for me, and I would have ordered them in all three colors. For the price, these are a good value.
