I wanted something for work trips that would fit enough “stuff” for a few days and maximize my options for lugging it around. I have used the bag on about half a dozen of those trips now and am pretty happy with it, especially for the money. It took me a while shopping for such a bag before settling on this and I wanted to share my thoughts for the next person and hopefully save them a bit of time.The thickness of the bag’s material seems more than adequate to me. The “canvas” material has a backing that looks like it would be at least briefly waterproof. Definitely fine to be in the rain for a while without worrying about the contents getting wet. Don’t go tossing it into the lake, though. The inside of the bag has a nylon lining and all the interior seams are bound. The bottom of the bag is effectively a double layer of material (since that’s the compartment where you can stash the backpack straps) which adds structure and will probably help for times when you need to set it down on the wet ground. The construction seems solid overall. It has good zippers that are smooth, but not so smooth that they accidentally open. It doesn’t feel at all like a “cheap” bag.I didn’t really care about the “tactical” MOLLE strapping on it, but that’s my own issue, not the bag’s. They are there if you need/want them, and they appear to be well stitched and the correct sizing. I installed a little carabiner clip to one of the loops to hold a water bottle. So I guess they did the right thing putting them there.The backpack straps are fine. Not amazing, but they serve the intended function and haven’t felt like they would rip off under load or anything yet.A few ideas for the manufacturer for improving on the bag:1. Please change the zipper pulls on the main compartment to have holes for a small lock. They have cord loops for pulls which you could use for that function, but it would just have been nicer to have a more secure locking option.2. Please consider adding a trolley strap to the bag. You could use the main handles of the bag to loosely secure the bag to your rolling suitcase or perhaps use a small bungie cable fastened to the MOLLE loops, but a trolley strap would have been a nice addition.3. Please consider adding a layer of neoprene to the bottom of the bag to help protect fragile items (laptop, etc.). I’ll probably add my own, since the bottom of the bag is one big compartment, and it would be easy to slide one in.Overall, though? Great bag at a reasonable price. I’d buy another one if this one was destroyed or wore out.

The I don’t care for the hassle of rolling suitcases. Bought this for some international traveling. Sturdy, comfortable, huge capacity. I walked a lot of airport and sidewalk miles with this on my back. Never got sore.
