Decent build quality. Easy access adjustments when bipod arms are deployed. The returning spring extension is far superior to other near peer products I have tested.

Feels decently built and strong. Looks good. I like the functionality. I’m not an operators so I’m not spending $400 on an Accutac. Would buy again.

I purchased this bipod as an alternative to the more classic-styled models with exposed springs on the legs. The manufacturer has a good reputation and the price seemed right. I am mounting it on a bolt-action varmint rifle which will see occasional use at the range. If you are looking for a mil-spec bipod for heavy use, while this model certainly looks beefy, it may not be the answer for the long term. One weak spot appears to be the springs for the retaining clamps on the adjustable legs. They sit in shallow sockets and I wonder if an accidental hard knock could send them loose and flying. They also look like they will eventually rust unless regularly oiled. Also, the long plastic handle that tightens the tilt axis concerns me a little. I don’t plan on using it much, if at all, but past experience has made me wary of plastic levers that must be increasingly cranked tight over time to achieve a firm friction fit. For my limited use, the bipod is worth the money, but if you are rough on your gear, or are looking for something that will hold up over prolonged periods of heavy use, you might consider a different bipod design or save up and purchase a model with proven durability. Hope this helps.
