I bought this for one reason, as a much stronger UV Cure light than the little LED cure light that came with the UV glue kit I’m using to repair a cracked boat hatch bug screen. To the point, it works PERFECTLY for UV glue cure, noticably faster, stronger/harder cure than my little UV single-LED powered by 2 CR2016 wafer batteries. As those batteries weaken, the cure weakens or slows, and it’s easy to use up those 2016’s enough in just a few cures to be wishing for something stronger. As soon as I read from the Seller these lights put out 395nm UV, that’s all I needed to know. The standard 18650 Li-Ion batteries included with this pair of lights are perfect for this job of curing UV glue repairs. Though these aren’t marked, 18650’s are usually around 2 to 3 amps, so plenty for this function, and I expect will last through many cures of UV “glue” (really not “glue,” it’s UV-hardened liquid plastic.)One ‘feature” I noticed as coincidentally helpful in UV cure…the recessed primary lens. When I was using my little single-LED cure light, I’d accidentally touch the tip of the LED in the glue, trying to max out the strength of the little light. As my photo shows, you can lay the outer aluminum barrel right down on flat surfaces you’re glueing, to intensifycand speed up your cure, and the lens stays safely tucked up inside, so no accidental fouling of your UV source with wet “glue.” (Yes, it’ll scrape off…but just nice to not have to)Most of the other features of these lights are fairly standard for this “waterproof, aluminum, Zoomable, high-brightness LED flashlight” product class, as I have 2 or 3 other types all powered by 18650 Li-Ion (I bought an intelligent charger for them), an underwater dive headlamp, a handheld dive light, and another with both red and green lasers, with a screw-on prism that makes it the perfect emergency aerial rescue light at sea…scatters the laser in a 180° pattern so Coast Guard using standard night-vision will easily see you)……but this light is more for work, getting things done…my others don’t have the red area light function, or the magnetic base, very handy for mounting over an engine compartment……and one clarification about that “Strobe” setting mentioned in the product description….the side LED panel does a pretty intense “Strobe” between red and white, like a Police car, but the main LED from the primary lens is not really a “strobe”…it’s automatically signaling Morse Code…”S” “O” “S” [dot dot dot dash dash dash dot dot dot](common to my other red/green laser lights too.)I did not test how “waterproof” these are….reading “between the lines” in the docs, I’d say they’re “water-resistant,” i.e. can get wet and still function, but not immersable. I needed them to cure “glue,” so I didn’t want to kill one to find out how “waterproof.”So…this light, with it’s unique combination of features, is VERY worth having, I’m very satisfied.

If you peruse the 1 star reviews you’ll see QC issues with this product are present. I seem to have escaped the worst of them (one of my units stopped working but taking the battery out and putting it back in fixed it) and honestly for the price you can do a lot worse.Anyways, I work in supermarket refrigeration and this flashlight is basically perfect for EDC. The beam is nice and bright and focuses down to such a narrow little spot you can shine it all the way through coils, look down the beam and actually get a really great view of what’s going on. It also focuses to a spot tight enough to point things out, especially useful for inspecting stuff on high ceilings or inside drop ceilings and showing others what you’re looking at. The wide angle is nice and wide and still bright enough to see everything you need, and having the same focus adjustability on the UV is amazing for leak searching supermarkets with UV dye in the refrigerant. The work light is also nice and bright and I’ve found the magnet is generally stronger than the sheet metal you come across is thick, it has trouble sticking it most spots but on a thick enough piece of steel it holds pretty solid. Not a fault of the flashlight, just how shit is built these days. I don’t use it as a work light much because I have a Klein work light, so I get multiple days out of one charge usually, and on days I’m in a lot of dark spaces it’s always lasted long enough to get the job done. For the price, an unbeatable deal, if you get a lemon just return it to Tomahawk Tactical Supply Find and try again, it will be worth it.

overall im very impressed with this flashlight duo. granted its nothing more than a two pack, but i really like the versatility that these lights offer. two brightness settings, an “sos” mode, “blacklight”, mini led bar on the side that offers two colors and three settings (soldi white, solid red, and alternating).Cons: the charging port is micro USB and the lights tend to take about 24 – 30 hours to fully charge.Pros: Nice and bright, long battery life.
