Charles Ufarley –
I got the 40″ Allen Scoped Rifle case because it seemed the perfect fit for my lever-action .357, and it fits like a glove. It’s extremely well padded all around, and while the stitching could use some beefing up (the bottom of the case where the handles overlap), I can’t complain considering the price. It’s the standard for what you’d expect from an inexpensive but quality case: the zipper ends at the butt-end, that’s good. The hanging loop is attached with a rivet straight through, and the zipper is metal while the channel is plastic. There’s room enough for a small, scoped rifle under say, 38″ and nothing more, almost as if it was made just for my little Winchester-action beauty. There’s no side pockets, nothing. But that’s the way I like it. Also, you can’t beat the fact that it’s made in the USA.Finally, I LOVE how the case feels with my rifle in it. It’s so perfect, like a calzone or something. And the finishing touch is the silk-screened tin cans on one side. To me that’s a touch of true grace: self-effacing humor along with modesty.

I was very pleased when I got this case a few days ago and my rifle fits perfectly, like a glove..I own a Ruger 10/22 Carbine and I wasn’t exacly for sure how it would fit with my Swiss Arms 4×32 Rifle Scope mounted on it..I had read another review and it had said it fit with his 4×32 but was a little tight zipping it up..Mine fits great with about less than a half inch to spare..It is a really nice case for the money, very well padded and the handle is very well stitched..I also like the silk screened graphics on it, the tin cans and the tree stumps.. The Allen Company are very well known for putting out such fine products and this one is just as nice as some of the other ones from different company’s that I had looked at before purchasing this one.. Definitely no complaints here and a very satisfied customer..

Great item. Seems well made. Nice that it’s not black and “tactical” looking so I can quickly find it among my other cases. Fits Savage Mark ii Youth and Ruger 10/22 with 3-9 scopes perfectly. The little tree stump / tin can artwork goes well with those types of rifles!
