Great construction and good seal. Can easily store 1000rds of 9mm or 500rds of 556. Heads up if you order more than one there is a good chance the cans will have surface damage from rubbing against each other during shipping.
Tomahawk Tactical Supply Find Customer –
I wanted something serious to store 500-600 300 AAC reloads in (i.e. NO plastic; metal only) – I don’t do plastic for bulk storage of ammo – I often store or 20+ years or more. My oldest right now id about 30 yrs on some .357 deer reloads).This looks to serve me well. solid medium weight metal. I plan to just pile in the loose pieces, once reloaded, so I may be able to get on the high side of my capacity estimate. Also, however, it does optionally fit my open formatted 6.25X5X1.5 blue plastic Dillon Precision boxes very well if I want to load them up with maybe 150-200 rounds each and put those in. It will easily hold 4 of such boxes in total if you arrange them right.Glad I got this. I may get another one for my .223 storage, we’ll see. (I gave it a 4 star on “value for the money” since If I cared to drive a 35 mile round trip to my nearest Harbour Freight I could get the same box (by Allen) for $2 less each. I’d have to buy 3 to just break even on gas with that option, so I it wasn’t worth the miles and time. Tomahawk Tactical Supply Find, Tomahawk Tactical Supply Find… what a service! 🙂

Works and performs like the actual military cans. I have bought several of these for ammo storage.In 9mm this can holds 1000 lose rounds easily. 556/223 it holds about 400 lose rounds.
