This pack is extremely well built! Took a beating during my last training. The material and stitching held like a champ. The internal frame keeps the pack nice and rigid. The shoulder straps and waist belt were very comfortable. The adjustment straps held with no slippage. The buckles held up really well, too. They didn’t bend or flex under a 50lb load that I could tell. The amount of molle webbing on here allows for expanded and modular storage. My only complaints are that there are not more organizational pockets in the admin section, and the 3 mag pouches aren’t elastic. They won’t fit my sr25 pattern mags. Aside from those two things, if those aren’t a concern, this pack should serve you very well.UPDATE: I’ve worn this thing a few times now after having tried out some military surplus packs (FILBE and large Alice). The military packs fit and function much better for longer excursions, especially under load. If you are going to wear any gear (plate carrier, mag pouches, LBE, etc…) don’t get this one. It is made to function for civilian applications. It will work if you’ve got nothing else, but I would purchase this only for camping, backpacking, and hiking (anything where you won’t have anything but a shirt between you and this ruck). It is well constructed. Everything said about it prior still stands. Just know what you are buying and what it’s meant to function as. Just get milsurp if you’re going to use it for that sort of thing. You’ll be glad you did!

My packs where very good but needed replacing, saw this on sale and would have bough much soonerif i knew how much id like it. Has place for camp shoes, the right amount of organizing and feels really good so far rucking. Ill likely remove side bags and use as a day pack at times. Thing i am most happy about is its very light for how well made it is.

I got the XL model that comes with larger belt, possibly longer shoulder straps too. And it’s amazing, I find it difficult to find bags that fit me well being 6’6″ that can also carry a lot of weight. When I’m training I like to carry 150lbs sometimes more as I will run by somewhere to get water and electrolytes (3L water 1L Gatorade) and this bag handles its. With all the straps wide open it’s very easy to get into.but it was hard to pull them tight and move the bad around to get it to sit well. As well as moving the bad around to sit comfortably on my hips to pull the weight off of my shoulders. Some grab loops fixed that and makes my bag a little more mine. The other negative is the chest strap is thin and is only held on by open looped plastic hooks. I replaced it with a couple of molly stripes and a better strap which helps hold the shoulder straps where they belong. I do want to add one more strap on the back to help tighten up the load and help keep things from shifting. But these are all really easy things I can do. Most will never put 100pounds in there bag, but its nice to know that it’s strong enough to handle more than that. And that it is comfortable when you get it sitting right on your back.
