Last minute prep for a match and I decided to buy these bags (vs carrying bulky plastic ammo cases in my backpack). This idea ended up being one of my best ones. I carried 100 .30-06 rounds in the bag, but it could have easily held more. I guess you can say it’s padded, so I felt my ammo was well protected. The sealing around the zipper and along the seams are likely more than enough for rainy conditions, but I don’t know if I would consider it waterproof like a dry bag. It comes with a velcro tag so you can label it and swap labels if needed. Each end has a strap with a snap so you can attach the bag to anything. Also, the zipper is smooth. Lastly, for four bags, this was cheap, but great quality.For my purposes, I would highly recommend these bags, but I am sure there are many other purposes they would be perfect for.

Got tired of putting of my plinking reloads in various containers. Decided to try these bags. Out of the package, they are very well made and a good size. Holds my .45 ACP and 9mm plinking rounds really well. Have not tested the water proofing but is not important to me as I do not and will not be leaving out in the weather. They do what they are supposed to do for me. I would definitely buy again and probably will.

I got these because the metal ammo cans are so bulky they are hard to carry with all your other stuff. With these bags I can open my safe and fill one with the ammo I need and slide it into my backpack or go bag and there is no way you could do that with one of those metal ammo cans. Also, I can store my different caliber ammo in them and while they are small, they hold more than you think. Actually, they will hold all you need of each caliber unless you are preparing for war, lol…and the price is right for sure cause you get 4 bags. They could be used for other purposes too if you need a bag for small collectables, coins, etc. I only dropped one star off the waterproof simply because I haven’t tested for that yet. I highly recommend
