This gun vault sits next to my bed and is bolted to a leg of my headboard; our grandkids might find it but they are not getting into it. I found the fingerprint recognition to be a little finicky at first but after reprogramming, it works fine. The numerical keypad has never failed and, of course there’s always the key as a last resort. I use the Vaultek 2.0 Bluetooth app to monitor and adjust the settings but have the remote unlock feature disabled. It is also nano key capable if you desire to use one. In summary, it isn’t the cheapest gun vault available but it is secure and reliable.

Easy installation, either side and programming simple with very good instructions A little pricey but with every dollar highly recommended!!
