Retired LEO here. I’ve seen my share of cases over the years. The inserts are perfect! No more pulling foam blocks to fit your pistol and magazines. It’s the perfect size for storage and travel. The exterior shell is made of a heavy duty plastic. The hinges are strong that it won’t allow the lid to drop all the way down. The locking clamps are easy and pressure release is simple (turnstile). For the money and value, it’s a 10 out of 10. I couldn’t be any happier.I highly recommend this case!

I have four .380 ACP pistols, and needed a way to carry them to the range. For 3 of them this works very well, but the 4th didn’t quite seem to match its slot (longer, different). Especially with the guns, can feel a bit heavy for my old hands/arms. Bigger than what I’m used to, so will just have to get used to it. Compliments from my range officers, plenty of protection. But the right latch broke already. Left is working fine. A very nice “carryall” plastic box.
