I love tactical gear. It’s functional stuff where attention is paid to how it’s used more than just how it looks. Not only do I like to hike, but I also own a dog that I walk a lot, and as she’s a canine for a local search and rescue organization I really use tactical gear. I’m always looking for quality stuff as it can make the difference between mildly uncomfortable and unable to function. I was keeping my eyes open for a new, smaller walking bag, so when I saw this I had to try it.It arrived wrapped in plastic and in near-mint condition. This is a nice backpack! It’s not a huge multi-day hiking bag, but it’s the right size for a full day out. The main bag is roomy and it has tension straps on the side so that you can compress it down. There are side pockets for water bottles that you can access without opening the bag itself. There are two main pockets, the largest main pocket and a smaller one on the front of that. Both pockets are big, the main one enough to hold a day’s worth of gear or at least a full change of clothes. There are dividers inside to help organize things, though I tend to ignore these and just use zipper pouches to organize. The fit and finish is excellent. There aren’t loose stitches or frayed ends anywhere that I see. The zippers are YKK and a good size (YKK makes the best), and as important as zippers are I’m always pleased to see YKK. It means the manufacturer cares about details, and these zippers don’t fail like cheap ones do when there’s a little dirt present. The material is heavy duty ripstop and should take quite a bit of abuse.Overall I’m very happy with this backpack. It’s the right size for a day bag, or a school bag. The material is heavy duty and should hold up to running through the woods or being on a young child’s back during the school day. There’s a lot of organization within the bag and it has compression straps so that you can tuck this thing down and make it easier to walk with.

This is my new favorite bag. I love the tactical look and function with the molle and such. The build quality is great, so far it is very durable and for what you’re getting the price is decent. There are many zippered pockets and interior zippered storage as well. The bag is not a full sized bag but I would say about half the size of a normal full sized backpack. This holds my 13 inch MacBook Pro perfectly with decent padding and a Velcro strap to protect it. I don’t think it would hold anything bigger than that as it’s just about perfectly fit and pretty snug. The front main compartment fits my Steam Deck in a carry case nicely as well. The side pockets are great and hold bottles or various items nicely. I put a patch on the Velcro on front and it is quality Velcro and holds nicely. The zippers are hefty and durable with nice smooth and secure zipping. I find the straps to tighten the bag on the sides to be unnecessary but someone might like them. The padding on the shoulder straps and the back section for while wearing to be very plush and comfortable. I have managed to store my MacBook, Steam Deck, portable dock, hdmi cord, several usb cords, charging brick, battery bank, flashlight, knife, sunglasses, writing pen, gaming controller, ear buds, small first aid kit and a couple bottles of various pills all at the same time easily without over stuffing the bag. The interior pockets made this decent and organized. Very decent bag and I would love this same bag in other colors. Maybe a gray in the future would be awesome!

It makes a nice hiking and sightseeing bag. This small size allows for extra mobility. So many compartments, and pockets, to keep gear organized. Has Molle straps, on the sides and back, so you can add your own accessories. It should be fairly durable, with the double stitching, and strong canvas fabric. The zippers zip smoothly, and have good zipper grabs. Only con, is the cost. It doesn’t offer much value.
