Do not listen to the other review. That guy wanted Coach luggage with a small puppy sticking his head out his purse. This bag is great, so much that I ordered a second one. Comparatively with other like bags, the wheels are beefier that can actually handle a beating. Ive drug them through gravel and sand and performed exactly the way I expected, your dragging heavy s***. No kidding. Ofcourse its going to be a pain unless your going through LAX but I assure you with the environments of transitioning from base to base in other countries, this will be worth it and makes your life easier. The handle drag strap is indeed a strap, but it is a durable strap that I can’t complain about. If my bag is too heavy (which it has many times) then I just switch hands and remember not to skip arm day at the gym. Could it benefit from a solid extending handle, yes, but its also something that could easily be broken and render the bag partially unusable. The strap I like because its simple, durable and in the off chance that it were to break, I can have some afghany boy sew the crap out it and make it 100% again.I honestly haven’t used the big shoulder straps much at all because of natural travel snagging. But when it was a light enough load for me to throw on my shoulder I found it comfortable.Space. This thing can easily carry two duffle bags worth of stuff, a spare tire, shetland pony and a petit woman. Ok maybe not so much on the other stuff but two duffle bags worth, absolutely. Though it always seems when I feel I might be pushing the brink of useable space in the bag, I cinch it down and realize that I could’ve gotten more in there. The only downfall is it can fit more then you’d want to carry in weight. So when you cinch your whole lockers worth of stuff down, remember your going to have to lift it into a truck at some point.Zippers are solid. I have some other SOC gear and this bag holds true to the rest and the zippers are rugged, havent had an issue in the years of owning the brand. To wrap it up, the bag is awesome for the field and deployments. SOC is an awesome brand that ill continue to trust and use their products, especially at their competitive prices. Hope this helped.

I have a different use for this than most here, I use it for paintball. Your average player will have a ton of stuff and they sell “paintball bags” for this for $200 and up. While I liked those bags somewhat, they are mostly built for security of your equipment, which is fine and all, but I don’t need that where I go. I used several cheap Olympia 33″ 8-pocket duffels over the years, They would last 8-10 months and then the material would wear through at the wheels because the wheels were too small and the end structure material was about as stiff as a binder, so it collapsed after a few rough days. But they were only $30 shipped, so it was kind of worth it, until one failed after about 4 months. then I found this bag. Very sturdy, 3 large, tough wheels, and enough pockets to keep everything separated (more than the “paintball bags” by a long way actually.) The soft pull handle is the only real deficit, but I can understand why they did it (I think.) The size is massive, bigger than anything I have seen on the market. The zippers are quite heavy duty and I don’t see them failing anytime soon. The main & expansion zippers have overlapping material meant to keep rain out which is ok, but it makes operating the zippers a bit cumbersome. Overall, a real winner for me. I don’t think I’ll need a new bag for quite some time.

I actually bought this for my home based business in which we started to ship out 30-40 packages per trip to the post office. I was just using multiple duffles to transport them all. I was fed up (and so was my lower back) on carrying so much like damn mule. So we bit the bullet and started our search here on Tomahawk Tactical Supply Find first for “Rolling Duffle Bag” and this came up on top of the list. One click and I was IN LOVE!! But of course like you, reading this review now, needed to be sure everyone else is happy with it. After reading pretty much all the reviews, especially the ones from the military folks (thanks!), if this thing can take a beating from those folks and keep on kickin, then this was the bag for me!I was not dissapointed at all when it arrived and it was just like everyone else says; super massive, extra sturdy, tough stitching and straps galore!! Well done Sandpiper!! I think…correction, I KNOW I’ll be looking out for more products made by SOC!!
