For me this is an excellent – no frills sling that I put on my Marlin 1892 .357 lever action. It is a hair over 7/8″ wide. The color is fantastic and it evokes refined old-school rugged with the dark deep color and accent stitching.I do not plan to traipse all over God’s creation with it – so I like the narrow unobtrusive style that does not interfere with the lever action.I am 6’1 and I set it at the shortest length. There would be plenty of length to add if I so chose.

All I wanted was a simple sling & thats what I got good quality leather simple attachment. Thick enough to be the last one I’ll buy for my .308 & good enough quality to buy for my next one too
