Great budget scanner. The 384 quality is to be expected, good enough to identify out to about 350 yards on a good night. Battery life is great, range finder is a must and very accurate.

Well what can I say, this thermal monocular is completely wild. It takes some getting used to the buttons, especially in the dark. It does also require a bit of frequent clearing in semi-auto mode as the pixelation becomes stale after a few minutes of viewing, but it clears right away. The battery lasts for a very long time. Now for the really cool part. Aside from watching deer traverse through the trees at night, you can also see Unidentified Flying Objects both at night and during the day, that are not visible to the naked eye, even with a blued night sky. That in itself makes this one of the coolest toys I have purchased. You can even snap pics or record your video for playback later.

Very good picture quality and battery life. Range finder is excellent and useful. Monocular did not come with a neck strap which is essential if you’re going to use it outside – which of course you will.
