Disclaimer: I’m using this plate carrier for purposes, so I’m not expecting it to be used to carry real plates. I’m a big fan of this plate carrier mainly because of how low profile it is. It’s not blocking your range of motion or view, it’s really comfortable and very adjustable. It comes with hard plates already in the vest so no need to buy ones unless you want softer ones as these are pretty hard. I use my OneTigris pouch from the chest rig and easily slap it onto the plate carrier, making a vest! I have no issues with it whatsoever for use.

I’m a big boy weighing at 330 and 6 foot even. Fits great both steel plates and thick poly plates. The only con is the straps will neck burn you.

One tigris, I have a few design upgrades. With the hook and loop portion at the bottom of the plate pouch, I’d suggest adding another inch to the inside so real steel plates can be used securely. Additionally adding a little cushion to the adjustable shoulder straps would go a long way. Those are the only issues I see. Thank you for your consideration if you read this review.
