4.5 stars. Excellent design! Mounts easily to mil-spec Picatinny rail- no tools required. Low profile design. System disable by simply turning bezel 1/4 turn is a plus- prevents accidental turn on while in storage bag (also has a flip up lock bar which blocks the actuator button). Light mode selector between constant on/strobe and momentary on (as long as actuator button is depressed); both visible and tactile confirmation of switch position. Shape of actuator button easily fits thumb of forward hand while in the support position (with or without gloves), enabling operator to activate the light as desired without requiring visual assist; also no need for a separate actuator pad with those unsightly cords. Effective matte black finish blends in seamlessly with most finishes. This would be a perfect accessory light if the battery life were longer.

Mounted on 10.5″ barrel Ar15. Fired 300 rds with no wobble or malfunctions. Had to mount it far up to get comfortable hyper-extended C-grip. Gets a bit of powder residue from my vortex for how far up its mounted but it takes it. Powder residue just wipes off. No issues so far. The angled tail cap button is great and my primary reason for purchasing it. You don’t need a separate light mount and it has a quick release built in. So removing it is very easy. I’m impressed so far just the price is high. I prefer streamlight but you can’t beat how streamlined this light is. It sits flush against the picatinny rail. I’ve beaten the crap out of streamlights and they still work. Have one mounted on every rifle I own except one pictured. Guess we’ll see how this one holds up in comparison. It’s a very nice tool but like I said…expensive… hope it was a good investment.

I really wanted to like this light when I bought it, but I had no idea that I would just plain love it. Its a great looking light, no doubt, but the thing is very well made and thought out. Easy to mount and dismount, with a well designed button that works from a variety of grip positions. The real treat is the brighness, and perfect mix of spill and focus. I get a very wide field of view with it, yet I can see all the way down my 400yd driveway. It is pure excellence. Highly recommend it.
