Recently I’ve been trying to find some alternatives for tac P’s that didn’t cost as much as crye but would also be good enough for moderate use. I’ve seen alot of reviews talking about the sizing being off . And they are for sure.. the other brand from tac. World store are similar. I started with a 42 as I’ve gained weight . I wear like a 36-37. I’m 6’2″ and 250 lbs. Got the longer version as I wore a long in the military. But these things were ridiculously long. Like a giant could wear them lol. And also too big. So I decided to get a 40×32.. although better, still loose in waist. So I got a 38×32. These finally fit perfectly. So since I figured the tac. World store and idogear prolly get pants and sizing from same place in China. So I got a 38 in the idogear as well. But for some reason these ones were a tad small. Compared to the other 38s. So I had to return them. What I will say though, is the material and workmanship was better than I expected. I could see these holding up well. Included knee pads are great. All the adjustments to fit the size perfect to you is great. And compared to crye and those guys, I think it’s worth the buy getting 5 pairs of these for same a some crye. I wish they did bigger sizes than 38. But will have to deal with it for now. I’d say these ones fit closest to actual correct u.s. sizing of any. But if anything, I’d go a size bigger as you can adjust the waste tighter etc. I also kept a larger pair for winter when you need layers. Hope this helps.

These were exactly what I was looking for. I was trying to complete a uniform and there were sized correctly. The over all build is impressive and looks/feels as if it can take a beating.

These came out great, they feel heavy duty and the definitely do the job, they are pretty hot to be in during hot weather but that’s to be expected from pants like these, I took these out for a 2 day hike and they held up great, I felt like I could abuse these as much as I liked and they would still hold up.There are a few specific aspects of the pants that I will go over:1. The knee pads: Trying to insert the knee pads will cause you to re-evaluate your entire life but once you understand the technique it’s not a big deal, other than that they function great and really protect your knee when kneeling, only complaint is that they are very hard and inflexible so they can get uncomfortable when sitting. 2. The size: I measured my waist before ordering and ordered a 34″ waist size, but when I tried the pants on, they were too loose on my waist even after tightening the waist adjustment mechanism, so I was forced to use a belt (which I was planning on using anyway so it wasn’t that bad).3. Overall comfort when walking: While walking in these pants after a while I noticed that the extra reinforcement material on the crotch area in the back of the pants would fold into itself and would bother me so I had to readjust it every once in a while, also the material of the pants is not very stretchy but I didn’t find it bothering.
