9 reviews for HATCH Shooting Tactical Glove with Kevlar

I have worn PAST brand padded fingerless shooting gloves for years. Recently my husband remarked that he felt he needed shooting gloves also for several reasons, one of which is that his skin is getting very thin and tears easily, sometimes even if he just touches his hand against something like a wooden barricade. Another reason is that winter is coming.Since the PAST gloves are no longer available we researched shooting gloves for longer than he wanted to keep reading, but he thought that this Hatch KSG glove with Kevlar might be just what he wanted. These are NOT padded but he wasn’t wanting a padded glove anyway. We carefully measured his hand according to the manufacturer’s chart and he ordered the large. As soon as the gloves arrived he put them on and was extremely happy with the perfect fit. Then he wore them on his next trip to the range and came back even happier! He said they do everything he wanted in a shooting glove. They are thick enough to provide warmth AND thin enough that they do not affect either his grip OR trigger control in the slightest. If and when my old PAST gloves give up the ghost I may look into buying Hatch gloves for myself also.UPDATE: Hubby likes his gloves so well that I did order a pair for myself. Using the online chart I ordered the size small and the fit is almost perfect. My hands are “medium-large” for a woman. If a woman has really small hands I do not believe these gloves would come in a size that would be small enough – but for me they fit very well. There is some open space between the glove material and the “crotch” of my hand at the bottom where the thumb meets the palm, but since the palms are leather I think they will stretch as I use them so I can have a really firm grip on the grip of the gun. I haven’t used them on the range yet,but will update again after I have some experience with using them when doing live fire.

Nice tac gloves. True to size and snug. I wear large, and larger fit great.Easy to don/doff quickly, compact enough to roll up and stow in a cargo pant pocket. Backside breathes well, leather palm offers protection but still has good feel/dexterity in the fingers.

Size-L glove fits my hands very well. I tested my grip/trigger operation with a Glock 17, and the glove performed admirably. I haven’t used them at the range yet, but I have plenty of confidence in them. There’s no slop that will bind up in the trigger guard. This does result in a slightly tighter fit that I’m happy to get used to. I’ve been wearing these gloves outside whenever the situation permits, ever since I received them in the mail.Note: Cool weather preferable – the gloves clearly aren’t meant or suitable for very cold weather (as in below 0 F, which happened for a week or so, recently, here in Colorado). Not a fault of the glove, of course!Overall, great value and highly recommended. Now I need to look into Hatch gloves for colder weather…
