G4Free® Sport Outdoor Travel Waist Pack Hiking Fanny Pack Tactical bag Fishing Tackles Waist Pack(Black)I received my G4Free Deployment Bag (ASIN: B00M0FBYQ2) on a Friday and started using it that day.So far, it has worked very well for me but, I must admit, after hearing the complaints about it being too small, I found it to be almost too large for me. I may consider getting the smaller version at some point, just to see.In the past, I have used bags like this, daily, to keep my essentials in but they are always too big or too small or didn’t seem to have been thought out well in their design. That is not an issue here, although I do wish the top pouches opened in the other direction… but I understand that they were designed to be easily opened while worn as a fanny pack. I may not use the fanny pack feature often, but it does appear to be one of the best made that I have seen, IMHO.Overall quality? Excellent. No flaws that I can find. The seams are strong, the zippers are of a good quality and the material is consistent with the rest of it, meaning that it appears to be durable enough to take some punishment and rough treatment.I will try to upload some photos to go with the description. Here is the run down: I usually pack two external hard drive cases, a larger case for cables, an eye/sunglasses case, batteries for my vaporizer, some snack/protein bars, Q-Tips, a Bic lighter, emergency battery charger for cell phone, ear buds (in a case), a couple of thumb drives (in a case), some vitamins and ibuprofen (in a case), extra coils and cotton for vaporizer and some eye/sunglass wipes. On the outside of the bag, I have attached a belt clip that I use at work to hold pens, vaporizer, e-juice and a razor knife as well as a MOLLE bottle holder (from another seller) for my 24oz. Bubba Keg coffee mug (I only have one cup a day and that is it… but it’s a big one). They all attach perfectly well with room for more. I may add another bottle holder for a water bottle. (Man does not live on coffee alone, but he can try…)My intent is to be able to arrive at work and leave from work with all I need attached to a bag that I can easily carry in and out and not be burdensome to carry or keep in the car. And I feel confident that this bag can also be used for day hikes without issue. I will have to try that this fall.If I do get one of the smaller bags, I’ll let you know how well that performs as well, we’ll see…

This is a great edc bag, camera bag, or junk bag for that matter… I use it every day to carry my things into and out of work (it’s about a 1 mile hike, so you want everything) and it’s much better than carrying a full size backpack or a duffle bag. The size is great, it’s larger than most “hip packs” or fanny packs, and it will hold quite a bit.I like these because the belt tucks away and it comes with a shoulder strap (that’s how I use it, I’ve never tried to use the belt) and it also has a grab/hand carry handle on the top.It has 5 completely separate compartments as well as organizers and mesh compartments in each one.The material is thick, molle strapping is quality as well as zippers. Would also make a great range bag! I typically carry my: phone, charger, charge brick, power bank, medicines, pens, gloves, knife, and a few memo pads… I also use one that’s the same size as a range bag!My only issue is the same with all bags of this style, the grab carry handle buckles into place and you have to unbuckle it to access any of the compartments.

Almost everything is awesome on the pack, with many compartments and features! The only downside IMO are the waist flaps/strap. The flaps are supposed to sit at the sides of your hips (on each hip forward/back facing) but for someone size 36 or larger in US they won’t wrap around. Instead they’ll butterfly completely outwards. Additionally the strap will be too short to wrap around and buckle. If you’re a size 34 or less then it’ll work! I purchased a separate tac belt (many are good and cheap, even a similar green!) and packed the waist bands away in the rear molle flap and fed the it through the tac belt. It worked like a charm. If you wear it front facing just know it’ll rock with your legs/hips while walking. If you attach on your backside then it should stay in place depending on your belt loops. Last thing I’ll say is that the main compartment is big! It won’t fit an iPad 10.9 or larger, but it’ll fit anything (including a side arm). SPECIAL NOTE: It can take a few min to completely dry out but if you have wet seal containers or pouches, you can use this bag while submerged! Wore it as a waist pack/fanny on land and in water with bills, documents, side arm and a clip inside for about 20 min and everything was dry. The drain holes are awesome too! Keep in mind the more weight you have the more likely it’s gonna give you the pull sensation on your pants, so just tighten the belt.If you don’t want to get a belt I’m sure there are buckle extenders for the size of the waist buckle (larger than normal ones) but not sure if they’ll have a matching or close green.Overall a great bag – despite whatever reviews there might be posted about a molle strap broken or something ripped, I haven’t had any issue with the material. Shoulder strap is decent for the price but the waist one/flaps won’t fit as desired for someone size 36 and up US. A remedy would be to get a tactical belt and web it through the behind the rear molle area or buy a large-buckled extender strap. A great bag that is worth the money, especially if you’re a size 34” waist or less. If you’re a bigger person it’s still awesome just keep in mind you might need to at some optimization features for wear!
