Didn’t quite know what to expect as I saw a lot of ads for tactical fleeces well over $100. This jacket fit everything I was looking for. It’s warm, thick, has plenty of pockets, and seems to be made well. I’m 6’1″ 220lbs and the xl fits perfectly. The gray color is exactly as shown and the zipper is on the correct side. My only complaint is I didn’t receive a Velcro patch with it. I almost fell for the$119 tactical fleece advertising, this was a fraction of the cost and everything I expected.

I was in the market looking for a tactical fleece jacket, after seeing a bare skin fleece tactical jacket Comercial. After checking their product on their website, I almost fell off my chair. They want I believe the price was around $100 dollars? Yikes, I said to myself. So, I decided to checkout similar products on Tomahawk Tactical Supply Find. I came across this jacket. At first, I thought it looked too good to be true? $35, for a similar tactical fleece jacket? I thought there must be a catch? Maybe, poor materials, lower quality? But, for $35, I took a shot. I must say, after receiving, and trying the jacket, I am glad I bought it.The quality of the jacket is pretty decent. I haven’t had any issues with poor zipper quality, or the materials coming apart. The jacket is pretty warm. I wear it outside in cold weather every day. The temperatures in my city are horrible lately. I live in NYC. And we been getting a lot of snow, and 20’s and 30’s temperature. On most occasions at my job, I simply wear this jacket. And for the most part, it has kept me warm. The jacket has numerous pockets. At first I wasn’t too sure about a jacket with pockets near the top, for warming your hands? But, I got used too it. Is not bad at all. So, in Conclusion, if you are in the market for a tactical warm, jacket. Then I believe you won’t be disappointed with this one. Is less than half the price of the tactical bare skin one, at $100. And is good quality as well. It does the job, it keeps you warm.

This tac jacket is a good choice, especially for the price point. I might wish to see $35 instead of $43, but such is as it is. The stitching is reinforced and heavy duty, but not well quality controlled. My jacket has a few pieces of material either cut or sewn poorly, so that there are some edges with material overhanging the seam. Probably the reverse will also be true, that there will be places where the fabric isn’t properly aligned and has slightly missed part of the seam, but I haven’t found any such on mine yet. The fit is okay, even if you’re generally pear shaped like me, but will improve with a smaller gut. I wish it were cut a tad longer as it has a tendency to ride up when I bend at the waist. If you have extra big guns, then this one is not right for you as they cut the arms pretty straight. As well the shoulder is not so roomy, though I have a pretty big frame. And while they have a drawstring at the waist, there is none for the hood to keep it from blowing off. I suspect this hood would work really well over a cap with a bill, and since it isn’t too big, that would likely be enough to keep it in place. The peacoat pockets are great! I might wish the zippers a bit shorter, but starting at the same height. And having the interior seams such that there were interior pockets as well would be extra great. I couldn’t find all together: waist pockets, peacoat high pockets, interior pockets, back lumbar pocket, drawstrings at waist and hood (and possibly a detachable hood). Those were the details I wasspecifically looking for, and I couldn’t find them, at any price point, in any fabric. But this was a good choice for me.My full estimation is that for temps down to freezing, this jacket will work well if you’re moderately active. It may be too hot for high activity and too light for low activity at freezing, but will be a useful layer at most chilly temps.
