I am typically not one to spend this much money on a knife. However, this Benchmade is totally worth it. Super smooth action, and razor sharp! Highly recommend!

Loved the blackout Redoubt! Worth 5 Stars for typical Benchmade quality, blade steel, and operation. HOWEVER, I’m giving it 4 Stars for EDC because of the “over zealous” handle. All that raised nub texturing on the handle would make a fast draw of the knife (in a tactical emergency) virtually impossible even with my weightlifter’s hands. And that extreme texturing will shred your pockets in nylon hiking shorts, dockers, or thicker jeans (I tested all of them). I had to return the Redoubt, and ended up choosing the Mini-Adamas with the grey blade and the black G-10 handle. The Mini-Adamas is perfect in every way. I hope the review is helpful.
