Good boot. a bit more on the Chinese side of the sizing. Normally wear wolverines or GA boots in 13w and 12 in tennis. Tried the 12w, too small toes on the tip and squeezed on the sides. The 13w are snug. Decent toe room. Sides, just to fit. No extra room for a single cushion if you wanted one. They fit like tennis around your foot. The heel is rough like others called out. Plan on good socks or a mole skin on first break in. kinda weird for a 13w. Would be nice if maybe they had 13EW see how they do when they break in the dark coyote brown is nice and dark close to the brown in your OCP’s. Oh, direct buy from 5.11 expensive and no veteran discounts. Only active. Hope the obvious glued sole last long than it looks.

When I got them they had dirt on the bottom of them so I would imagine someone used them

They look really cool and comfortable and even well made the issue is that I can’t get my foot into it. Having been in the military for 20 years I know my boot size. I’ve never had this problem any other brand of boot. The opening between the heal of the boot and the tongue of the boot is too small to put a foot in. I even unlaced it completely. No luck. Then Itook all the laces out. Nope. Wore the thinnest socks I could find. Nope. The opening is just too small. Really disappointing because they really do look comfortable and light. Sending them back.
