Works great. It’s bright and takes same batteries as other items you used at night.

By far one of the best headlamps I have had and I have had many. The lamp is programmable as in you can program what color is first to light up when turned on. however, when switching from a colored light to white light, the default is the brightest setting. I wish it had the option to start at the lowest white light intensity from red, or whatever color is being switched from.
