I’ll be honest with you. I really didn’t expect much from these when I saw the price that these are sold for. (Surely this must be just a toy, I thought.) Now, the closest I’ve even been to using night vision was playing the original Splinter Cell. But I always imagined that these units cost a pretty penny.Now, admittedly, these are not Gen 3 military grade goggles… but for a normal joe like me who’s just wants to walk around in the dark with this just because he can, well… it’s perfect! I think that anyone who buys these, especially at this price, will be pleasantly surprised at the view compared to the expectations. Unless you’re in special ops (which, I’m sure Uncle Sam will gift you a couple of these), these are great.
