I had the black one through last winter and then ordered the tan one for spring and summer. The black city hunter held strong but the tan one failed at a seam connected to a side strap. In defense of the bag, I probably push the limits of it so… I mean it doesn’t matter because there isn’t a better option

Nice bag but not for concealed carry. Might be able to modify. The only thing that could be hidden in the concealed carry pocket is a small .380. I have a Shield and it shows. Mtac’s other smaller bag is much better suited for concealed carry (I have both). Overall a good edc bag for everything but a gun.

I really appreciate this sling bag. I opted for the coyote color, and though I was worried about how it would actually come out, it’s a great color that fits with my other coyote colored products. One of the things that seemed unique to this bag, is the hexagonal patterned material on the exterior. This material seems to be a more slicker type material, which is also the same material that is used on their molle system throughout the bag. I believe this material is to help with the water repelling. I don’t mind it, and actually think it may help, but I noticed this is quite different than other similar bags I have.The bag itself seems quite durable, with many options and pockets. There is a main component with 2 velcro sleeves inside that is also lined with a type of waterproofing material; a smaller top zippered compartment at the front with elastic straps inside as well as a sleeve; a front larger component with a sleeve and elastic straps and an attached keychain clip; and a front zippered pocket.All the zippers seem sturdy, and are attached with a rubberized loop so that you can easily pull the zipper. The sling itself is padded with 2 D-rings and multiple sleeves and molle straps. The strap is connected by a large snap in clip that allows for quick release if you need it, and an additional D-ring that has an attached strap to give a 3 point harness if you’d like. The back and sling are padded with a mesh outer layer for breathability, and the back of the bag has a sleeve lined with felt for concealed carry to be attached inside. It also comes with 2 additional D-ring molle carabiners that you can use as needed. There is also a carrying handle on the top which is padded for comfort.Overall, I think this is really a great bag that has many different options and uses. It provides plenty of options for comfort, and I think with the outer material and waterproof lining in the main compartment and top pocket, you can keep your items dry. I highly recommend this bag!
